Garden of Eatin' Mission Statement

Using the resources we are blessed with at St. Alphonsus, may we learn together, have fun together and work together to nurture an appreciation of God's creation, share the fruits of our labor with the community and provide support and food to those in need.

The Garden of Eatin’ (Vegetable Garden Ministry) is in need of volunteers to help plant and maintain the vegetable garden. 

This parish ministry benefits the families that come to our Food Pantry and the Wheeling Township Food
Pantry.

We are looking for eager volunteers with or without gardening experience to work in St. Alphonsus Garden of Eatin'. Our Parish garden will be celebrating our 12th year of producing tomatoes, peppers, onions, and herbs for our Food Pantry as well as others in need. Please come join us on Saturday mornings after 8:00 a.m.

Who: You and your family or friends
What: Garden for planting, watering, weeding
When: Every Saturday morning after 8:00 am
Where: Behind the Parish office in our vegetable garden.
